However, in answering the questions, we quickly came (and still come) back to organizational, legal and tax issues. Since these topics basically affect everyone, we decided to create this guide for all studios, not just KissCal users.

The guide therefore not only answers questions from KissCal users, but is aimed at all tattoo & Piercing studios, regardless of whether they are large, have several branches or are a one-man/woman show. You can simply skip topics that don't concern you (e.g. guest artists, space rental contracts, apprentices). But there might be one or two gems for you in the others. Use the table of contents to find the topics that interest you.

First of all, it is not the intention of this guide that you slavishly change the organization of your studio to what is described here. Rather, this guide is intended to point out opportunities and risks, present various alternatives with their respective advantages and disadvantages and, of course, explain why certain functions in KissCal are the way they are.

Our hope is that you will find one or two individual suggestions for your studio that can make your life easier. And then: implement them step by step, not all at once!
One more note when it comes to authorities (tax office, trade office, immigration office, etc.): There may be a wide variety of regulations here from city to city and municipality to municipality.
